Hyperlite's shoulder pocket is the perfect fit for my Garmin!
After buying the shoulder pocket I was stoked to discovered that the front mesh sleeve fits my Garmin inReach Explorer+ perfectly! In the attached pic you can see the little ridge on the back of the Garmin that normally helps hold a belt clip. Well, as it turns out, with the Garmin in my shoulder pouch that ridge lies just below the elastic strap that runs across the top of the mesh pocket on the outside of the pouch (2nd pic) meaning that even if I were to shake the pack upside down with the inReach in the pouch, I never have to worry about loosing it. Great job, even if it's came about as a happy conincidence!

Great design, one simple flaw
FYI:
- used the black version for my black porter 3400, 55 L
The Good:
- the design of the pocket itself is outstanding, great amount off space without feeling bulky when attached to your shoulder strap.
- the mesh in front has a firm pressure on everything inside, keeping your items in place
- both mesh and zipper pocket are easy to access
To be improved:
- The attachment of the pocket, the bottom one in particular, always opens when putting on or off the backpack. I tried numerous different ways to slide my arm through the shoulder strap while avoid it, but didn't work.
Verdict:
It is a great addition to every bag, however, the attachment mechanic is a deal breaker for me, sadly. not using the pocket anymore. If the team is open for suggestions, "Zimmerbuilt" makes some accessories usable with the porter as well, and the clip/ buckle types they use are outstanding.

Totally functional accessory for adding an extra pouch for your phone or satellite communication device. Not quite roomy enough to keep both a phone and device in at the same time but definitely withstands the weather. 2 small clips to hook to loops on the shoulder straps. I swap this on multiple bags to keep my phone and other small items accessible.
