A Note on Paid Repairs and Hardware Requests
Our paid repair and hardware request services will be temporarily paused from September 17 through November 2 while our team completes existing repairs and works on improvements to bring you a better repair experience.
Last day to submit a paid repair or hardware request is Wednesday, September 16. Requests received after that date will be held until we reopen on November 3.
Warranty claims are still being accepted as normal — see below for details.
Our Warranty
What's Covered Under Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our gear and craftsmanship. All Hyperlite Mountain Gear products are covered under warranty for manufacturing defects and will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.
Key Things to Know:
- Coverage: Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Proof of Purchase: Keep your dated receipt — it's required for any warranty claim.
- Resolution: Upon review, we will repair, replace, or refund the original purchase price at our discretion.
- Timeline: Please allow one week for review of your warranty claim. Our specialist will respond with a proposed resolution as quickly as possible.
What's NOT Covered:
- Products that have been modified, neglected, misused, or abused.
- Normal wear and tear, which will depend on the rigor and duration of use.
- Damage from accidents.
- Products used for commercial purposes (rental, courier, etc.).
- Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or third-party sites (Amazon, eBay, Craigslist, etc.).
A Note for International Customers: We're unable to generate international return shipping labels for warranty claims. If you cover the cost of shipping and send us your receipt and tracking number, we'll reimburse you in the form of an e-Gift Card.
Paid Repairs (Non-Warranty)
Because we make our products ourselves, we can often repair damage that falls outside of warranty — punctures, tears, busted zippers, worn-out components, and damaged hardware.
Estimated Repair Pricing:
- Minor patching (packs & shelters): $10–$35
- Zipper repair (shelters): $20–$60
- Hip belt repair/adjustment: $25–$50
- Major structural repair (packs): $40–$65
Final pricing is confirmed once we've inspected your gear in person. See the full repair price list for a complete breakdown by repair type.
What We Can't Repair:
- Cosmetic issues (stains, discoloration, fading).
- Gear that is beyond repair (shoulder strap separation from the pack body, back panel punctures).
- Damage caused by improper storage or care.
- Items modified or altered by the user.
- Accessories, Quilts, and Mummy Bags.
