Great pack

So far, I have used the Summit 30 for 2 weeks of hiking and Via Ferrata in Europe. Very pleased with it. It's very light and also packs very small which was handy as I travelled with it packed in another bag. I love the roll top which makes it easy to make the pack effectively smaller when carrying less gear. In spite of the light, thin material it held up well to scraping across rock while climbing/scrambling.

I really wanted to love this backpack but it would be great if there is an option for cushioned shoulder straps.

Great for bike + board days!

The other day I rode Whistler Creekside Peak t-bar etc. on my board and then in the afternoon I rode the just open bike park Fitz lift.

Conditions were whiteout and some scanty pow up top, lower wet slush / rail and lowest mud. Pack had snacks + drink, extra layers: puffy, gloves, goggles, hat, snow + bike tools, lip balm, etc. This pack was great!

I added the optional back stuff pocket, the phone pocket, the bottle holder, and a vice versa on the hip belt for a very flexible system and reconfigured on the fly. Highly recommend!

Light and Tough

My first date with this bag was Vietnam journy.

Lightness is fit for my purpose and I like shoulder straps are thin. Very simple to use, I added detachable stuff pocket as needed.

And if you don’t use this bag, it is foldable!!!!
