Good quality, lightweight, could use a strap keeper

The quality is great, the clip and strap seem well made and ready for outdoor trips. They are narrow enough to fits most packs but wide enough to feel sturdy. These were more expensive than most sternum straps so I would have expected them to have a strap keeper so the excess material doesn't hang down.

Good quality replacement, but the thing has issues as is…

Big. The webbing and buckle are more substantial than on many similar bags, with little added utility that I can see. The elasticated section is rather long, making it difficult to cinch down for the smaller-chested. Nicely made though.
