An external water carrying accessory for our Porter Pack.
We designed this streamlined, lightweight water-bottle holder specifically for the Porter 40, 55, 70 or 85 Packs. Weighing just 2.15 ounces (61 grams), this lightweight Nalgene™ water bottle holder easily attaches to the daisy chains of your Porter Pack allowing quick and comfortable access to your water bottle. Secure it to the daisy chains on either side of your pack with the side release buckle, and hold it in place with the locking shock cord.
It's lightweight and keeps the bottle in place. This should come standard with the pack and not as an accessory
I loved the water bottle holder! It was extremely lightweight, simple to clip to my shoulder strap, didn't flop around at all, and fit the bottle perfectly; neither was it too difficult to remove the Nalgene, nor was I ever worried that it would fall out. 10/10 would buy again.
It took me a minute to figure out how to attach this to my Summit Pack. Thankful for YouTube!! Once I got it attached correctly it fits perfectly on the side of my pack. If you are unsure how to attach the webbing and clip to your daisy chain (use both daisy chains), I highly recommend looking it up on YouTube before writing a negative review. This attachment is truly genius and especially compared to some of the other water bottle holders out there. I would also like to give a shout out tot he fit with the Nalgene. Perfect. The perfect accessory for my Porter 3400 pack! Fits securely at a 45º angle on the side of my pack and allows me to stay hydrated while on the move. My Nalgene slides in and out with little fuss and the shock cord quickly secures the bottle in place for times like scrambles or steep ascents when you don't want to risk sending your bottle down the mountain on a magic carpet ride.
