Sale price$49.00

Just like the dollars in an ultralight gear junkies bank account, the Minimalist Wallet feels almost non-existent.

Round out your ultralight lifestyle with this nearly imperceptible dollar holder. If you’re the type of person that’s always checking your back pocket thinking your wallet is gone, this might not be for you – it’s really that light. While it’s built for abuse like every Hyperlite Mountain Gear product, it’ll still look new for years.

My husband loves this wallet. I have a feeling this will become his only wallet. Lightweight and well made. It does make a crinkling noise but not while in the pocket while he is walking.

Almost Perfect: Needs 2 Improvements

This is the thinnest, lightest heavy-duty wallet I can find that still meets my criteria for a classic bifold wallet with both frontal credit card/ID pockets and hidden side pockets for extras (insurance cards, loyalty cards, stamps, etc.).

The two areas where this wallet needs to earn its fifth star are:

1. Incoporate RFID blocking.

2. Produce lighter-colored wallets that are easier to see (and harder to lose!)

Best Wallet I have ever owned

My brother got this for me about 10 years ago and it still looks great with only a few wear spots in the corners. The only slightly negative I can say is that if 2 cards are not in the same front pocket they will slide out. Luckily I have not lost a card and I see with the new designs they added a higher side probably to help stop this. No big deal for me I just keep 2 cards in the slot and it is fine. Here is to another 10 years!

Wallet seams bulky

I have the original version of this. Tattered as it is and incredibly dirty, it worked flawlessly. Not very becoming, so an upgrade was needed. The new version seems just fine with one major flaw…the edge reinforcement on the interior slanted seam causes a raised section in the wallet that is not only felt when seated, but also visible from the backside (so my wife tells me). I am sure the bulk will decrease with weight and time, but the change in design is not welcomed.
