Built with super light, super durable, and 100% waterproof Dyneema^{^®} Composite Fabrics, the Daybreak 22, weighing in at just under 20 oz, is a gimmick-free vessel for sunup to sundown exploring that brings just what you need to the task at hand, and easily transitions between missions on trail or in town. Easy-to-access stretch mesh and zippered front pockets, and stretch mesh side outer pockets allow you to carry items like water bottles or trekking poles when they're not in use, and a big, wide, water-resistant zipper lets you easily access the contents that occupy all 22L of its volume. The Daybreak 22 ushers in a new dawn on what a “daily driver” can be.

Redesigned shoulder straps featuring an adjusted shape for a more natural curve around your neck, providing enhanced comfort. More frequent bartacks provide increased sternum strap adjustment options, allowing for a perfectly customized fit.

Hip Belt

Simple removable 1" webbing hip belt can be swapped out with Contour Removable Hip belt with pockets for additional storage and comfort (sold separately).

Internal Pockets

Expanded internal laptop sleeve now fits up to a 17” laptop snugly and securely.

Back

An integrated 1/4” foam back panel pad adds cushioning and support for a more comfortable carry.

Very nice backpack, extremely light
This has become my "everyday" backpack for small shopping and errands around town, and even long walks. Light and comfortable, looks great. Good water bottle holders. It augments my "weekend" pack - an Unbound 55L.

Nice Improvements
Owning the original Daybreak 17 in Black opted to get the new Daybreak 22 in White. And the improvements were nice - from increase volume to enhanced fabrics, This pack ticked new boxes also - the larger interior pouch/pocket that was removable, to the ability to add more than just a waist strap, thank you for listening and allowing pouch/pockets for the waist belt. I’m a bigger hiker so this pack being in the longer torso height helps a lot to get a more dialed in fit. I’m still on the fence about the exterior storage pouch, hoping it doesn’t get snagged too much in low branches or brush, but time will tell. Side bottle pockets fit any of my bottles just fine and the front addition of a front pocket helps for storing gear I want quick access to like headlamp, Swiss Army knife (the tiny one) works great. Looking forward to putting many miles on this newest pack.

Great quality
I haven’t been able to test it on any hikes yet, but the build quality is incredible. It is very light, I almost thought my delivery box was empty when it arrived. Pockets are well thought out and sized well. I love the large pockets on the outside.

Great update to a great pack
This is the update I’ve always wanted. I’ve used my previous day breaker for years for everything from skiing to going to the office. It’s comfortable and just fits so much without being heavily. I can just bring this bag for 4-5 day urban trip easily. My only “concern” is the changing of the front pocket material to mesh. While it seems very durable and have had no issues I do worry about the durability but only time will tell. Everything else though is amazing.
