Camera Doesn’t Fit

I ordered the camera pod assuming it would fit a camera. My Nikon Z7 wouldn’t fit with any lens. A little disappointed at how small the pod was.

This pod is made for rough country.

Attached the camera to my shoulder strap and walked 2 miles up this stream to a nice waterfall. Crawled over and under brush, Mountain Laurel and Rhododendron with no problems. The pod protected my camera and being on my shoulder strap made the camera easy to get . Very pleased with the camera pod.

Good initially, but doesn't hold up

I go backpacking 4-5 times a year, usually 3-4 day trips max. I've been using this camera pod for 2 years now, attached to the belt of my backpack and the setup works very well for me. It's lightweight, and the bag protects my camera if i'm scrambling up rocks or accidentally knock it against something. The outside fabric of the bag has held up just fine, but the inside dyneema fabric has torn unfortunately. I'm not even sure how really...just the abrasion of taking my camera in and out of the bag I guess? Whatever the case, it's a disappointment considering the price of the bag considering I don't use it a ton. I wish they would have used the same outer material, even if it's a little heavier. I've been recommending this bag but since the tear, I can't anymore. I put some clear tape over the tear which prevents my camera from getting snagged on it and it's still usable, but I'll look for another bag for the future.

Great pod, just Medium just barely fits X-T5 + 16-50mm lens

Got this for a recent backpacking trip - works great. Protects the camera a bit while remaining lightweight, easy to put on several parts of the bag.

I have a Fujifilm X-T5 and the new XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR Lens, and it just barely fits the regular size. You kinda have to shimmy it in a bit, but it will fit.

3+ years, countless hikes later and still going strong

I first bought this for my first backpacking trip on the Kalalau Trail in 2021 and it was perfect. I've since used it to hold my camera on the Inca Trail, around Patagonia, Yosemite, Zion, and most recently the Laugavegur Trek in Iceland. I've encountered rain and snow and the pod kept my camera nice and dry.

I got the large and it fits my X-T5 w/ L bracket and Tamron 18-300mm w/ hood extended. It's my largest setup for now and it closes up nicely.

I also added a paracord handle as well as lengthened the carabiner attachment as in stock form, it sat up way too high for me.

I do wish it had a stretchy mesh pocket though to stuff filters, phone, or sunglasses. Maybe on the V2??
