INTRODUCING
CROSSPEAK 1
FREESTANDING TENT
WEIGHT 28.7 OZ1P CAPACITY

BUILT ON THE PROVEN FOUNDATION OF THE CROSSPEAK 2, THE CROSSPEAK 1 BRINGS THE SAME FREESTANDING DESIGN, ROCK-SOLID STABILITY, AND QUICK SETUP TO A STREAMLINED SHELTER MADE FOR SOLO MISSIONS.

Its compact footprint gives way to a surprisingly roomy interior with generous headspace, while 100% waterproof Dyneema Composite Fabrics strike an exceptional balance of minimal weight, durability, and reliable weather protection. At 28.7oz, it stands among the lightest freestanding one-person tents available—ready to handle rough conditions without weighing you down. With the CrossPeak 1, solo doesn’t have to mean going it alone.

BUILT FOR EASY LIVING

LADDER LOCKS

Allow for precise and easy tension adjustments, guaranteeing a taut and stable pitch every time.

REINFORCEMENT TIE-OUTS

High-visibility orange tie-out loops provide crucial structural reinforcement, adding strength in challenging storms.

REFLECTIVE BINDING

Clearly marked pole intersections ensure quick, intuitive setup and easy tent location, even in the dark.

One of the most impressive aspects of the design was its livability; for a single-person shelter, it's quite roomy!

PROVEN IN THE BACKCOUNTRY

TESTED IN GREENLAND BY RICH RUDOW

Southeast Greenland in late August is a place that demands respect—a landscape of jagged granite peaks, massive glaciers, and unpredictable Arctic weather. It was the perfect proving ground for the CrossPeak 1. Over three weeks of self-sufficient travel, Rich Rudow tested the limits of the tent’s 100% waterproof Dyneema® construction against brutal coastal storms and extreme condensation. His expedition wasn't just a gear test; it was a masterclass in wilderness survival among top-tier predators and pristine landscapes. Discover the details of the trek, the engineering insights gained, and the breathtaking photos of the Aurora Borealis lighting up the Greenland sky.

Frequent Questions

Design + Specifications

The bathtub floor of the CrossPeak 1 is 4.5 inches tall.

The CrossPeak 1 follows the same design principles as the CrossPeak 2 in a lighter, more compact format for solo use. Key differences include a 5 oz weight savings, a single vestibule door, and a bathtub floor that is 16 inches narrower at its widest point.

Weather + Performance

While it can withstand harsh weather, the CrossPeak 1 is designed as a three-season tent.

The CrossPeak 1 is constructed with Dyneema® Composite Fabrics, which are 100% waterproof with fully taped seams. In tough weather conditions, stability can be enhanced by using trekking poles in both the vestibule and inner floor via the pole retention straps and grommet. Guyline at the head and foot panels and pole tie-out points provide further reinforcement.

Setup + Accessories

Please refer to our CrossPeak 2 setup video, as the setup process is nearly identical. Key differences include a single vestibule door and an additional internal trekking pole attachment point for added stability in stormy conditions.

Yes. The CrossPeak 1 can accommodate most wide sleeping pads, including pads like the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir® XLite™ NXT, which measures 25 in (64 cm) wide and fits comfortably within the 29–32 in wide bathtub floor.

The CrossPeak 1 does not include guylines or stakes. Both are available separately.

The bathtub floor of the CrossPeak 1 (like all of our shelters and inserts) is generally a sufficiently durable barrier on its own. That said, it’s always important to use caution around sharp surfaces.
