This four-wall UltaMid 4 Insert features “no-see-um” mesh and a Dyneema® Composite Fabrics floor for adventurers who want to keep the bugs at bay and gear dry. Built to fit into the UltaMid 4, the 100% waterproof DCF11 bathtub-style base ensures excellent protection in inclement weather. The UltaMid 4 Full-Insert creates a living room for up to four people. The insert is marginally smaller than the perimeter of the UltaMid, so it never touches the walls and keeps condensation to a minimum. UltaMid 4 Tent, Ultralight Stake Kit, and UltaMid Carbon Fiber Tent Pole sold separately.

    Expanding use of UltaMid4

    I enjoy the space of the Ultamid 4 but do not enjoy the moisture or bugs of the southern US. To keep me dry and bug-free, this insert is a must. No issues with use so far and is easy to use.

    Unbelievably light and roomy yet packs down small

    This is our 1st ultralight tent and we’re very pleased with it. It’s a good idea to watch a video on how to set it up, then it is super easy. We purchased this for bike camping trips that we have scheduled but did a test run and stayed in the tent for 2 nights. In breezy conditions it was stable. Very roomy and quick to set up.
