Good pack

Just wish it had mesh pocket on the front for a phone but otherwise it’s a good pack

Big fan of Hyperlite gear but the zipper on this is just very poor.

Perhaps it's because the zipper teeth are so small, i'm not sure but the two sides of the zip can disengage extraordinarily easily...with two zipper pulls, each nicely equipped with an orange draw-string, it's relatively easy to force the zipper back and reengage it but this will eventually lead to wear on the zipper teeth and and i would fear that eventually the zipper simply won't work and will need replacing. Whether that happens or not it's not acceptable as one could obviously lose things due to unnoticed, unwanted zipper opening.

A secondary issue that is not a criticism, just advice to other buyers: don't buy the white one, it gets very grubby, very quickly.

Perfect in Many Ways

Perfect size, ultra light weight. I use this daily. Hiking , running errands, life in general. I like having all my essentials… phone, wallet keys in one place so I can easily remove and go thru security at the airports when traveling each week.

Almost a perfect pack accessory

My only complaint on the vice versa is how it attaches to the sternum strap. The design to have the sternum strap go through the back makes it a bit of a hassle to buckle the sternum strap. When you undo the sternum strap the pouch slides right off it which means you have to grab it and do something with it. It does come with a place to attach a clip on each side. I used some small S clips to attach the vice versa to the buckles on the sternum strap. I could quickly undo one of the S clips and let it dangle from the other buckle while I undid the stern of strap. Setting it up like this made it so I didn't have to worry about keeping track of what I did with it. Adding the vice versa to your setup allows you to have not only another pouch for quick access items it also gives you a detachable pouch that you can take inside your tent.
