The close-to-body fit and narrow profile of the Aspect 32 day ski touring pack provide uninhibited movement and all-day comfort. While it's stripped of any unnecessary excess, the remaining features offer plenty of volume and easy access to any gear you'd need in backcountry terrain. It's constructed with Fully Woven Dyneema® for maximum protection against ski edges and years of reliable use. Other features include a zippered front avalanche pocket, with two-way accessibility and internal sleeves for organization, and a side zipper for quick access to your gear inside. Under the lid–which also has an external zippered storage pocket–is a quick-release drawstring opening. Dual outer ice tool attachments accommodate most ice tools and a radio port opening aids in keeping in contact with the outside world. Two removable straps allow A-Frame or vertical board carry, but diagonal carry is also an option.

Aspect 32 ski pack early impressions

I have used this pack about 6 times as a day pack for ski touring. I have owned many ski packs during my 4 decades of ski touring and this pack is one of the best. The pack has all the features that help streamline my ski day. I see a few simple improvements that would lead me to a 5 star rating. The first would be to give the pack a flat bottom instead of the tapered shape. A flat bottom would help with holding the pack upright in the snow when shuffling gear during the day. The second would be to make the nylon pull for the closure system out of not-black webbing so it is easier to see. The pack carries and skis really well going up and down-- the shoulder straps are a perfect shape and I don't need to use the chest strap to hold the pack snug. The feature set is perfect. And another big plus is the pack is made in the USA-- and is very light weight.

Aspect

I’ve only recently began to hike with this pack. It has been great. It is lightweight durable, and I really like the side zippers, which gives me easy access to the whole pack. I would recommend this pack to anybody doing big or little day touring trips.

The only thing missing with this pack is a secure way to carry your helmet.

It is just what I want!

I tested the next day I received it on Stevens Pass. It was snowing and windy with 10inches of deep of fresh snow. I like it super light which is more valuable for an splitboarder. The separate apartment for skins is nice.

Great size, durable and versatile.

I was able to get my hands on one of these packs early and have used it in the Tetons, Alaska and most recently touring/working down in Chile. I have a long torso and struggle to fit the "S/M and M/L" two-sized fit model of most touring pack lineups, the Large Aspect fits we well and doesn't end up feeling like a belly shirt when snugged up for the descent. The gear loops at the base of the hipbelt actually double up back to the shoulder straps and I am able to get a great, full-body pull when dragging a small pulk in easy terrain. The axe attachments are slick, and adjustable from the inside to increase retention after a few seasons of use. Great for day tours, and lots of little details that make it useful for longer, complex expeditions as well. Well executed!
