130 Day Review Including Replacement
I originally purchased 3 pack pods with my SW 4400 bag. I really love the pack pods in there original form, I just wish they held up over time...
I only ended up using 2 of the 3 I originally purchased.
They both ended up fraying around all parts of the zipper releasing strands of Dyneema into the land and my small pack pod (most commonly used) ended up getting a few tears in it.
I emailed Hyperlight and they did send me replacements. Was super stoked on that.
Wen't on my first trip with my new pack pods and one of the zippers of my small pack pod kept breaking apart in the center after being zipped up all the way.
Just went on a 30 day trip and tried to do everything I could do to fix it. No luck.
Just getting back home I emailed Hyperlight and they responded with a video about how to fix the zipper with needle nose pliers from a different youtube channel.
They also did say if that doesn't work let us know.
The customer service with Hyperlight has been amazing.
I can definitely say that I'm not impressed with the life of these bags and would never buy a new one again at these price points and personal experiences.
My SW bag has been standing the test of time though and still is my all time favorite bag to date.
Just trying to get an honest review out there for you guys and Hyperlight:)

Wanted to love it
Used for 4 day backpacking hike hut to hut on the Presidential range of the White Mountains in NH. Night one- my pod felt like it had sticky tape across both sides. Same night two and three. Day four the seams opened. I had read some else this problem and didn’t believe it. Total waste of money. Didn’t survive one trip. I love my Hyperlite Versa Fanny pack. No problem with it.

Got my pod and packed my 15 quilt in it. Tight fit but I didn't think it was overly tight. The pod exploded at the seems before I took it out. After talking with customer service maybe I had it over stuffed but isn't that what they're for? I will say they immediately issued me a credit so I could purchase somthing else.
