Drawstring Stuff Sacks

9L one fits well in my ultralight backpacks, and into the external mesh pockets.

I put my shelter - DCF tent or tarp, regardless of the size - into 9L sack and put it into mesh pocket. It is much easier than trying to roll it down tight and put into sack that came with the shelter which is usually very tight.

I also fold (not roll) my sleeping pad (and often bivy too) and put them in the sack, which I slide into the backpack, closest to my back, which prevents hard objects (like pot) from digging into my back.

Adhesive on this drawstring dyneema stuffsack failed within 24 hours of when it arrived when it got too warm. Two Hyperlite dyneema stuffsacks arrived July 9 and I flew to Seattle (Washington Cascades trip) July 10 at the tail end of a Pacific Northwest heat wave. When it got hot (probably while checked backpack sat on tarmac at an airport), the adhesive released and the stuffsack burst open all down one side and the sleeping bag pushed out the gap. When the stuffsack cooled down again the adhesive stuck to my 850 fill power $480 ultralite 20 degree sleeping bag instead of the seam. Uggh! I was sure I was going to rip the thin shell of my 1.5 lb 20 degree down bag trying to peel my sleeping bag loose again where it was glued securely to the failed stuffsack.

Super light weight, durable and spacious for its size, what more could be better, it’s the GOAT of stuff sacks!

You need to understand the correct sizing of the bags and the correct size of what you need to put in them as they do not stretch, but they are so lightweight that they shave many ounces off you basic weight!! As an ultralight backpacker in Colorado, hiking at 10,000 ft +, every ounce count! These are excellent stuff sacks for my critical needs!
