The legendary MSR PocketRocket® went DELUXE! This little stove delivers incredible performance and reliability for any mealtime with a pressure regulator for super-quick boil times, no matter the temps outside. It’s also got a rugged push-start Piezo Igniter for those moments when you suddenly remember the face of the hiker you gave your last lighter to at yesterday’s shelter. A nicely sized burner head distributes the heat, and for those fancier dining experiences, set it to simmer while you enjoy a little box wine. We can’t come up with too many reasons to carry anything else in this class of stoves. It’s a keeper.

    So far so good

    I've only had a chance to use the MSR PocketRocket Delux a couple of times since I received it, but it works great. It is a little larger than I was expecting and won't fit into my cook system but I keep it in my food bag where I will always know where it is.

    Best Stove

    I have had the Pocket Rocket Deluxe for a couple years now. It is a wonderful canister stove and you better have your meal packages open and ready cause the water will be boiling in no time in any conditions.

    I gave it 4 stars cause the lighter thing broke on day 2 practically. MSR said ship it back and we will fix, but I haven’t done yet.

    Watch your altitude

    Have this product. Small. Cool off before packing; work fine but you must remember your fuel, matches, cookware, which may be heavy. Have a bit more problems lighting this at higher than 9,000 ft altitude. You need to have a relatively level area for large pots or keep an eye on your food. Not for kids. Heats stuff fast. Recommend.

    Gear nerd! Started out with excellent Jet boil. Too big but safe. Finally bought this. Is small, flods up; and by itself, light. Works at altitude, easily regulated. Cautions: not real stable! Watch pets, self and kids to avoid tipping, scalding. Remember to bring long wooden matches and fuel canisters. Try finding flat area. Adults only!
